tasting faq’s:
How soon can I book my tasting?
We need a minimum 48 hours’ (2 days) notice for all tastings, to give us enough time to get everything together for your order.
Can i choose specialty flavors to include in my tasting?
While we do not offer Specialty Flavors to be included in our tastings, we are more than happy to go over the flavor you’re interested in and give you any information about whether or not it would be a good choice for your special day.
can i book a tasting outside of the available hours?
Our tasting hours are set on when Management is most available to accompany you for your in-store tasting. However, if you absolutely need to book outside of those hours (due to work schedules, kids, etc.), we’d be more than happy to see if we can get you taken care of. Please note that all in-store tastings booked outside of posted hours are subject to a before/after-hours fee.
what is included in an in-store tasting?
An in-store tasting consists of a variety of our most popular flavors with their Signature icings. Management will allow time for you to go through each of the flavors, and will then sit down with you to go over thoughts on the flavors and details about your special day, including the date, delivery + setup options, base pricing, design ideas, deposits, and other important information.
what is included in a take-home tasting?
A take-home tasting allows the guests to pick up their variety of flavors and taste them at their own convenience. When you book your take-home tasting, you are also given the space to book your follow up consultation with Management to discuss everything you would in an in-store tasting. The follow up consultation is available over the phone or in person.
why is the tasting $50?
What makes the tasting so special is the follow up consultation, whether in person or over the phone. Management takes some time out of their day to speak one-on-one with you to go over all your order details, compared to our traditional way of all correspondence going through email. We take our time to make sure we have everything right to help make your special day flow as smoothly as possible. As a bonus, if you book us for your special day within 14 days of the consultation, 50% of the tasting fee will go towards the final cost of your order (the consultation for take-home tastings must also be booked within 14 days of the pickup).
